The product named 'Talking Rhino' and this website/app on which it is hosted ("Platform") is owned and operated by Volga Infotech Private Limited (“Volga Infotech”). At Volga Infotech we recognize the importance of protecting your/your child’s personal data/information and will process any data/information collected from you/ your child in a fair and reasonable manner and ensure your privacy is maintained at all times. This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) is applied to Personal Information (as defined herein below) collected, processed and used by Volga Infotech directly or indirectly through the Platform. For the purposes of this Agreement, any person below the age of 18 (i.e., the highest standard among all jurisdiction where we operate) shall be considered a ‘child’ and any reference to the user/you shall, in case of a child, deem to include his/her legal guardian.

What Personal Information do we collect?

Personal data or information collected from a person is categorised into two sub-categories under this Privacy Policy i.e., (i) personal information (data which helps in identifying a person, such as first name, last name, residential address, city, town, screenname, username, contact number, social security number, cookies, IP address, photograph, video graph, geolocation, etc.) (“PI”); and (ii) sensitive personal data or information (personal data which is more sensitive and requires higher degree of protection, such as password, financial information (such as bank account, credit card, debit card, payment instrument details), physical, physiological, and mental health condition, sexual orientation, medical records and history and biometric information) (“SPDI”).

We may collect the following type of PI and SPDI (collectively referred to as “Personal Information”) under the following circumstances:

We collect the above-mentioned Personal Information from you only after obtaining your/your legal guardian’s / parent’s verifiable consent and informing you/your legal guardian / parent clearly about the fact that the information being collected, purpose for collection, intended recipient and usage of the Personal Information. We do not condition any of our services, which will require you/your child to disclose more information than is necessary to provide the services. If no verifiable consent is obtained or the same is refused the contact information of the legal guardian and any Personal Information of the child collected shall be permanently deleted.

Information we collect when you use our Platform:

In addition, the Platform may collect certain non-personal information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of device you use, your operating system, the type of internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the Platform. As is true of most mobile applications, we also collect other relevant non-personal information as per the permissions that you provide while using on your mobile device.

How do we use your Personal Information?

We collect and process your Personal Information lawfully and for the following purposes only: (i) enhance your user experience on your Platform or respond to your requests; or (ii) provide you with our product or services under the agreement to provide you with our products or service. Will we share your Personal Information with third parties?

We will not share or sell your Personal Information for commercial purposes to third parties or diclsoe them publicly. However, we reserve the right to disclose your Personal Information if it is necessary to comply with applicable laws and regulations, court orders, governmental orders, to respond to a warrants, other lawful requests, and finally to defend our legal rights and the rights of our business partners and clients.

How safe is your Personal Information with us?

We have in place appropriate technical and organisational measures (including adopting and implementing a comprehensive written information security program) to protect against unauthorised or unlawful processing of Personal Information and against accidental loss, destruction, damage to Personal Information.

The protection is appropriate to the harm that might result from the unauthorised or unlawful processing or accidental loss, destruction or damage and the nature of the Personal Information to be protected, having regard to the state of technological development and the cost of implementing any measures (those measures may include, where appropriate, pseudonymising and encrypting Personal Information, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, availability and resilience of its systems and services, ensuring that availability of and access to Personal Information can be restored in a timely manner after an data breach incident). Right to review and maintain updated and accurate information with us: The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. If you find any inaccuracies, deficiencies, or errors please email us at hello@talkingrhino.ai, we will promptly correct, update or amend it, as per your request. In case of the Personal Information of a child, we will verify that you are the legal guardian of the child or not before providing you with this right.

Right to know about changes in this Policy: We may periodically update this Privacy Policy. We will notify you if we make any changes to this Privacy Policy through notice and through the Platform, immediately upon effecting such change.

Right to a breach notification: We notify you and the relevant data protection authority/statutory emergency response team (including Indian Computer Emergency Response Team in accordance with the policies and procedures as mentioned in the Information Technology (The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team and Manner of Performing Functions and Duties) Rules, 2013) without undue delay, and in any event in compliance with the required timescales set out in the relevant data protection legislation, on becoming aware of a Personal Information breach. We will also share the information on our website through a notice.

Right of erasure: If you would like to opt out of our services, our advertisements or for any reason want us to erase all or any of your Personal Information, please email us at hello@talkingrhino.ai.
